Haymarket, Virginia

Welcome to Haymarket, VA

Charming yet eclectic, the town of Haymarket, VA is a warm, welcomed escape from the busy city but close enough to make for an easy trip in for the Washington D.C. commuter. Haymarket sits at the foothills of Bull Run Mountain and is packed with rich history dating back to the 1700s.

Haymarket, VA sits conveniently at the crossroads of city and country with Virginia’s “horse country” to the West and the bustling town of Manassas to the East – all just less than an hour from the nation’s capital.

Families and business professionals flock to Haymarket for the highly rated public schools, its proximity to Washington D.C. and the overall safety of the town. A new resident can begin to quickly recognize this “suburban meets rural” feel with town activities like goat yoga and live music at the vineyard. An active student population attending college in Haymarket drives an abundance of activities, amenities and real estate options.

Where to Live in Haymarket?

It’s no surprise that Haymarket has seen significant new housing growth in recent years due to its healthy local economy, low crime rate and high standard of living. Some of the most desired neighborhoods include Bull Run Mountain Estates, Woolsey and Town Center.

Bull Run

Bull Run Estates is an ever-growing luxury golf community boasting homes that sit on large 3 to 4 acre lots. For the Haymarket resident looking for a larger home, Bull Run Estates offers floorplans with 3600-plus square feet and almost endless customizable options. It’s the perfect spot for the avid golfer looking for the extra privacy that comes with large lots and spacious homes.

Woolsey

Woolsey has a place for every need and budget from small single-family homes and townhomes to larger dwellings with five or more bedrooms. It’s a more recently established community with well-manicured lawns and freshly painted facades. This neighborhood with its diverse options welcomes families of all types and sizes.

Town Center

For the Haymarket resident looking for charm and aesthetic, Town Center may be the place to call home. This neighborhood is unlike any other with its row houses and that “historic feel with modern conveniences” touch. For the slightly more urban-living inclined resident, Town Center offers walkability and a close proximity to all things Haymarket. And the charm of this neighborhood will have you wanting to stay close to home, even with the easy commute to the big city.
